I have been through a lot of meetings in the last week discussing publicity for Pippin. From postcards to posters, I have been through it all. Some of the highlights include: two giant posters (one posted on the theater, one on the gym), several thousand post cards, a walking tour of characters in costume, and an outdoor concert version of Pippin songs.
It’s amazing how cheap color poster printing is here. However, the downside is that every club and organization on campus launches eye-catching material all the time. The main street is filled with banners on every tree. It’s like real-life pop-ups ads everywhere you go.
