Q & A in China

Hollis Wear of Seattle University asks:

How are you doing?

Well, Ms. Hollis, I am doing alright. I am growing a bit fatigued at this production. I haven’t had a real day off in a week or two but I suppose that’s because my life revolves around the production of Pippin. A lot of my work is teaching and, as a Summerbridge teacher knows, teaching becomes one’s life, pretty much. It’s a lot of fun, though, to work with non-jaded students even if I must explain everything down to last detail. I live a simple life here in an foreign teacher apartment. I try to stay healthy. The weather is beautiful and reminds me of San Francisco. I will be home soon enough in late December in time for Christmas!
