Beware of AutoCorrect

Just as a note: please beware of technology when writing your emails. AutoCorrect in Microsoft products, for instance, gave me this great email today:

So the shirts are being charged directly to the regular account and it does not look like we need the fiancé committee to provide a loan.  Should things chance, we will let you know.  Thank you!

Wow, I didn’t know the Finance Committee involved marriage or gambling…

  1. That’s why I try not to use autocorrect for much anyway. I’ve got a habit of forgetting one letter that changes what the computer thinks I want anyway. And the mistake is usually nowhere near what I really want.
