SIM Records in Connecticut

My acappella group, Stuck in the Middle (SIM), is off to a solid start here in Connecticut. We’re recording at Tapeworks Inc. where Stefano, an amusing Italian, records our range of sound from soaring solos to beat boxing. Tapeworks Blog posted this newsbite on us. We recorded two songs yesterday: “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” and “Such Great Heights.” Old-timers (parents) would recognize the first as a ubiquitous but great UB-40 hit and new-timers (kids) will recognize “Such Great Heights” from the popular Garden State Soundtrack. Today, two more songs are on the dockett: “I Second That Emotion” and “King of Wishful Thinking.”

Stay tuned for info on purchasing the CD. Can’t wait, drop a line to sim@middlebury.edu to get an update when the CD comes out!

  1. oh, and to be picky, the version of “such great heights” in garden state is the iron & wine cover, whereas it sounds like you guys arranged the original by the postal service.
